11:00am - 1:00pm - CEDAR WEAVING

Tyrone Elliott, Snuneymuxw'/ Quw'utsun weaver of nearly 20 years. He has been immersed in cedar harvesting and processing from the age of 4, woven himself since the age of 5, been helping with workshops since 14, and has been co/facilitating workshops for 4 years is facilitating a weaving cedar roses workshop. (max. 15-20 people per hour)

3:00pm - 4:30pm - BREAKING AND HIP HOP
Lead by Nk'yap'xn (Pat Alec), Ru-Tang and Alyssa. All ages & levels.

Tyrone Elliott is facilitating a weaving cedar roses workshop. (max. 15-20 people per hour)

CHILDREN'S AREA

11AM – 4PM

11:00am - 4:00pm - Visual Artist Brianna Dick will facilitate mural painting over on the raised rock stage area. She will be sharing knowledge of the traditional legend "Camossung" of the area. Additional arts and crafts and original drawing templates for coloring. 

11:00am - 4:00pm - JB Williams is regional area traditional story-carrier and plan/ecosystem Knowledge Keeper - he will share stories and artifacts with families.

 

12:00pm - 3:00pm - Roxanne Sam Cayou & Daniel Norris will teach traditional hand-games with singing, drumming, rattles.

12:30 - 4:30 - KC Hall (Indigifest logo artist) will be facilitating a spray painting mural. Drop in.
